Back-to-base monitoring connects your alarm to a professional control room. When the system reports an event, a trained operator follows the response plan agreed for your site. That can include contacting keyholders, sending notifications, dispatching a patrol or escalating a confirmed emergency.
What happens when my monitored alarm goes off?
When your alarm sends an event to the Grade A1 control room, a trained operator reviews the available site, event and zone information. They then follow your agreed response plan, which may include notifying nominated contacts, sending an SMS or email, arranging patrol attendance or escalating a confirmed emergency.
Can PSG monitor my existing alarm system?
PSG can assess your existing alarm system to confirm whether it is compatible with back-to-base monitoring. The team will check the complete reporting path, including the panel, communicator, network coverage, backup battery, programming and testing, and recommend upgrades only where needed.
What types of events can be monitored?
